Firstina Martin
Lead Pastor
Reverend Firstina and her husband, Vernal Martin serve as the leaders of Hands of Life Worship Center. After serving faithfully as an assistant pastor of Hands of Life Worship Center Church of God for the past five years, Reverend Firstina was appointed to pastor Hands of Life Worship Center on April 25, 2022.
Reverend Firstina and her husband Vernal Martin have been married for over 49 years, and are blessed with six children, plus twelve grandchildren. Their passion is to impact our community and the world with the glorious gospel of Jesus, and to see people's lives changed and transformed by the love of God.
Pastor Firstina Martin has a heart to preach and teach the Biblical truth without compromising the truths of God's Word. Each week she challenges the congregation to "Listen to God and do what He Says". She is far from perfect but will point you to a perfect savior.
Derron & Cavel Nicholson
Assistant Pastor
Pastor Derron Nicholson is an ordain minister, with over two decades in ministry. Pastor Nicholson serves alongside Pastor Firstina Martin as the assistant pastor for Hands of life Worship Center. Pastor Nicholson has a passion for God’s word, he teaches a weekly Bible Study, discipline believers to grow spiritually. He is also the leader of The Mighty warriors for Christ men’s ministry.
Pastor Nicholson has been married to his wife Cavel Nicholson for over thirty two years. Sis Nicholson is the Praise & Worship and Prayer ministry leader at Hands of life.
The Nicholson’s are passionate, faithful believers who exhibit’s the love of god to everyone they meet. Their mission is to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds in becoming closer to Jesus, and reaching souls for God’s kingdom.

Minister Sean
Minister Sean and Sis. Nordia McLean are the Youth Leaders at Hands of Life Worship Center. This young couple is fired up and ready to work for God. These young, God-fearing individuals are an example that young marriages can and will work with Christ as the center of your life.
The Mclean’s have been together for 21 years and married for 11years with 2 wonderful boys ages 13 and 8 years old. Their mission is to impact the youth in the community and help them to build a Christlike life. They live and believe that a life without God is a life with no divine direction.
